GTT OCO immediately after a CNC buy .. is it allowed ?

In the GTT explanation and in the video, it is told that you should have in the holdings; then only you can place the GTT order My question is this.

I will place a buy order in CNC. On successful execution, can I place the GTT OCO immediately?( Only after T+1 day, it comes to holdings).
