I am building a commercial subscription service that consumes Kiteconnect api/WebSocket market data only internally to compute derived alerts and then delivers these derived alerts to paying subscribers. for ex “HCLTECH Nov Future has high volume at 10:30, LTP is 1000 and other ohlc info”
There would be no buy/sell call recommendation, service will be purely for educational purposes.
The service will NOT redistribute raw ticks, LTP streams, order books, or market data to end users — only algorithmically generated signals (alerts) and neutral links to public pages.
Could you please confirm:
1. Whether this usage (deriving alerts from kitconnect data and selling subscriptions to end users) is permitted under kiteconnect/T&C for a commercial product?
2. If not permitted by default, what partner/empanelment or licensing steps are required? Do we need a formal commercial agreement with Zerodha?
3. Are there any specific compliance requirements (e.g., exchanges empanelment, attribution, rate limits, or other restrictions) we should be aware of?
4. Contact person / guide for partner onboarding, if applicable.
