Hi, i want to know why there are no 'kite' methods to extract the 'table view' data? when we open a chart of a symbol, we see a 'table view' icon (beside info) on the top-right of toolbar. If you click on table view, you can see OHLC along with tools and indicators values. I hope if any one can answer it immediately and the reason, why there is no method for it. Also, give me reason, why kite uses 'custom logic' in determining the ASI indicator (because kite's ASI value is very different from the Standard calculated ASI value) ?
Regarding the TableView in Kite, we have forwarded your query to the concerned team for further review. As for the ASI indicator, we do not use any custom logic. The default indicator is plotted, and you can customise its values directly from the indicator settings.
My query is not answered yet. Is there any kite method to access 'TableView' data?. I know that not only ASI but also all other indicators can be tuned from their settings, to draw logics, but my question is why the standard formula of ASI is giving very different values from what i see in TableView's ASI column values? Please answer my query.
Kite Connect does not provide any API endpoint for TableView or spreadsheet-style outputs; all API responses are returned in JSON format. If required, the JSON data can be converted to CSV or Excel and rendered as a TableView on the client side.
For any queries or discrepancies related to ASI indicator values, please raise a support ticket on the support portal with complete details so the concerned team can assist further.
