We invested a lot of time and money to develop api based platform but it all failed due to change in api codes and unreliable connection.
Api contract note is waste of time as of now.
I had more than 80 lakhs free lying in account at that time and it did not auto renew.
Zerodha at least reply to our complaints !

We wish this to done on priority basis as We are end of day trading firm and until we don't have closing prices we can not place orders through api.

I have noticed that in Kite3 developers have used DateTime object instead of string(used in Kite2 API), but in getQuote method of Kite3 I am still getting string format of Timestamp

Closing price and LTP are mostly different as you may know. Closing price is 1125.10 as per bse website and the last traded price is 1122.No issue.
Closing price = Avrage price of last half hour
LTP = Last traded price of session.
@Kailash Have u started publishing Contract note through api ? its available in xml format from backoffice but when we can get it using API ?
