Banknifty Max quantity changes

Is there a change in banknifty max allowed quantity from 900 to 600?

Got bellow error today but couldn’t find any exchange circular from NSE:

Order placement exception: The order quantity 900 (30 lots) is higher than the maximum quantity of 600 (20 lots) allowed by the exchanges. Please reduce the order quantity or use iceberg orders. It seems there is/was issue with Zerodha API

Effective May 2nd, the freeze quantity for Bank Nifty has been changed to 600. You may refer to the circular linked below for more details:
