I wanted to check if the historical data for AURUM (previously MAJESCO) was adjusted correctly. On December 22 2020, the stock closes at 717.2 and the next day the stock opens at 8.9. I can see on unadjusted sources that close on December 22 2020 was 985.65, and the open on December 23 2020 was 12.2. I can also see on other sources that the company announced an interim dividend of 974 at the ex-date of December 23 2020. Wouldn't adjusting for this avoid the big change in the adjusted prices?
