Has anyone else been facing issues with their broker’s API lately? Over the past few days, I’ve noticed that orders placed through the API are reaching the exchange with significant delays. This is becoming a serious concern, especially for time-sensitive trades.
Orders are getting acknowledged late.
Execution at the exchange is noticeably slower compared to normal.
This is impacting strategies that rely on quick execution.
Would like to know if others are facing similar problems, and if there’s any update/workaround from the broker’s side.
During the pre-market session for the first 8 minutes, i.e. between 9:00 AM and 9:08 AM, orders are collected, modified, or cancelled by the exchange. The order collection window can close at any time between 9:07 AM and 9:08 AM. The orders placed are matched, and trades are confirmed after the order collection window closes.
