This looks like a serious technical issue. I’d like to know if I’m the only one experiencing it or if others are affected as well. Could it be related to placing a high number of orders per second? Because I place more number of orders per second than most Kite users. I’m raising this to bring it to the Kite team’s attention.
I have the order IDs, full order histories, and other details for all these orders. Please let me know exactly what information you need from me to help diagnose and resolve the issue. I can send it via private message.
This delay is only for validation pending and the next step. I have attached an example screenshot to explain what I exactly mean
Edit: I suspect that CNC buy and sell orders experience longer delays than other order types. I’ll need a few more days of data to verify this and will update my analysis accordingly.
CNC Buy orders orders had an average delay of 2.7 seconds. CNC Sell orders orders had an average delay of 1.8 seconds. NRML orders had an average delay of 1.13 seconds MIS Sell orders had an average delay of just 0.43 seconds MIS Buy orders had an average delay of just 0.19 seconds
I will share more details like relation between order time & delay, once I collect more data. I recently started saving order history data.
Note: This relationship may not be 100% accurate, as the sample size is limited to a small number of orders (10k orders) and days. I will update my analysis as more data becomes available in the upcoming days
