I have been a long consumer of kite API (4 years) and have intermittently used it before. Never in my life I have encountered such missing ticks for the entire day. NIFTY options usually receive data every second, and this has been the case since the day I first purchased subscription. Today I found many ticks are missing (roughly one third) for every minute. I have purchased the subscription for three years and now it seems that entire money is waste now if this continues.
I have debugged at my end and this seems to be an issue at Zerodha yet nobody is talking about it. If this continues tomorrow then I'll have to raise an issue with SEBI on the same.
Could you please provide the exact instrument details to check further? We want to determine if this issue is related to a specific instrument or affects all NIFTY options instruments, or applies to all instruments where you noticed missing ticks. Also, please let us know the average number of ticks you received per second & per minute so we can investigate further.
