Presently, postbacks are limited to tracking orders placed strictly via the API. This differs from the WebSocket functionality, which seamlessly streams updates for all account activity regardless of the platform used (API, Kite Web, or mobile apps).
This limitation particularly impacts developers utilizing the free API tier. Because the free tier does not support WebSockets, clients rely heavily on postbacks; however, without support for all order sources, they are left at a significant disadvantage when trying to track manual interventions or orders placed directly through Zerodha's native apps.
Would it be possible to consider extending postback notifications to cover all order updates, aligning its behavior closer to the WebSocket stream? This update would immensely benefit the developer community—especially those working on the free tier—and add incredible value to the platform's integration capabilities.
