I would like to propose that most brokers provide order updates via websockets for free of charge and they only charge money for market data. It is true that webhook can be used for this but it has problems like it is slow, it needs firewall to open risky ports over ip whitlisting. I have seen kite ws updates are lightning fast and they arrive even before the place order API is complete So I am requesting Zerodha to provide only order updates via websockets for free of charge.
