I'm an individual retail investor trading my own account via the Kite Connect API. I've built my own private trading system (not from an empanelled Algo Provider, no vendor involved) and I place at most 2 orders/day — well under the 10 orders/second threshold that the NSE circular treats as the 'only exception' to algo registration. My system runs on my own cloud server located in India (Mumbai region), not on Zerodha's infrastructure. Does the SOP requirement that 'all algo strategies be hosted on the broker's cloud' apply to my category (Tech Savvy retail investor within OPS threshold), or does that requirement only bind registered/vendor-hosted algos?
