The official Kite Connect sandbox documentation at https://kite.trade/docs/connect/v3/sandbox/ provides the shared demo app credentials and instructs developers to log in with a sandbox user.
I do not have an existing Zerodha/Kite trading account. On https://sandbox.kite.trade/, the "Don't have an account? Sign up for free!" link leads to the normal Zerodha live trading-account registration page.
Is there a separate process for creating or provisioning a sandbox-only user? Can the Kite Connect sandbox be used without opening a live Zerodha brokerage account? If so, please share the signup or provisioning steps.
