Static IP for order cancellation via API

Is a static IP required for order cancellation via API? I had configured a static IP in my kite developer profile but I had placed a cancel order via API but not routed through the static IP and the cancel order went through.

    As per the new algo framework effective from April 1, 2026, a static IP dedicated to the API key will only be required for order placement, modification, and cancellation endpoints.

    That is exactly what I'm trying to clarify. Order cancellation happened without routing through static IP.
