Beta testers wanted: ThetaPrime, a local options-automation desk built on Kite Connect

deepak_thetaprime
We've been building ThetaPrime, a Windows desktop app for automating F&O strategies through the Kite Connect API. It's in beta and I'd like feedback from people who know the API well.

What it does
  • No-code strategy builder. Compose strangles, spreads, covered calls and similar structures from blocks (entry, exit, sizing, re-entry, adjustments). Strategies are saved as declarative specs.
  • Runs on your own Kite Connect app and key. It runs locally on your machine, and nothing is routed through a third-party server. Your credentials and data are encrypted at rest.
  • KiteTicker WebSocket feed for live monitoring, with the REST API as fallback.
  • Rate-limit pacing and session-expiry alerts. Alerts go out over Telegram, email or desktop when your access token dies, so a stale session doesn't silently stop a strategy.
  • Safety rails. Strategies stay disarmed until you arm them. There are loss limits, instant disable, and a sim/backtest mode.
  • Option Scanner with OI and flow views, plus POP, Greeks and P&L tables.
  • Optional MCP server so you can inspect and manage strategies from Claude Desktop.
What I'd like from you
  • Try it on sim or paper first, then small live size.
  • Report bugs and API edge cases: order rejections, token handling, tick gaps, anything that behaves unexpectedly. The in-app Report Issue form also takes feature requests.
  • Tell me what's confusing, not just what's broken.
In return: free license time for testers, plus early input on the roadmap.
Caveat: this is beta software that places real orders. Start small, and don't run two instances against the same live Kite account.

Note: it is a safe Windows EXE - not currently signed - next version will be fully signed. If you wish you can run your anitvirus exclusively on it to verify in a sandbox.
Limited numbers will be accepted in this cohort
