We’re a SEBI registered investment adviser building a platform to use Kite Publisher’s offsite basket to send our clients their orders. The client reviews them in Kite and places them themselves.

But still when the clients (in testing) open the basket (in their own accounts), market protection is not checked on.
More: Even if they manually turn it on by editing the order, the order is rejected with the error: "API market orders without market protection are not allowed".
Can anyone clarify if market orders through Kite Publisher are completely blocked? This is not a Kite Connect based API order. It is a Publisher order which executes in Kite's own web-based platform, on Zerodha's property.
