I run a personal algo on Kite Connect (Node.js, kiteconnect 5.3.0) that has been paper-trading stock options for some weeks. Before placing real orders I want to test the full order flow — placement, modify, cancel, rejections and error handling — without real money.
I found the sandbox reference at https://kite.trade/docs/connect/v3/sandbox/ using the shared demo app (api_key "sandboxdemo"). The docs say to log in with a "sandbox user provided by the session organisers", and I could not find a way to get one.
1. How can I get a sandbox user ID for my own testing? 2. Does the sandbox support NFO stock options, SL orders with trigger_price, and IOC validity? 3. Are order updates sent over the sandbox WebSocket (ws-sandbox.kite.trade)? 4. Does the sandbox access token expire daily at 6 AM like production? 5. Are sandbox orders matched against live market prices, or simulated ones?
