Kite connect live data example error

I am running example code on ubuntu 16.04 64bit with latest version 3.7.0b5.
i am getting following error.

ERROR:kiteconnect.ticker:Connection error: 1006 - connection was closed uncleanly (I dropped the WebSocket TCP connection: name 'os' is not defined)

Any help resolving this is appreciated.
