i see a restriction to place a LIMIT orders in terms of ".05paise" intervals but i see that stock prices vary between ".01-.09paise" also.. Will this ".05paise" restriction be available for API trading also ?
Most NSE and BSE instruments trade with a tick size of 5 paise and all orders executed are in multiples of this. CDS, MCX contracts and BSE stocks trading below Rs 15 carry different tick sizes.

That is not possible if the tick size is 5 paisa. Can you share how you encountered this issue?
Sir -- while placing order for RCOM it prompted for entering in .05paise but when i see average price in nse site it was 2.12 paise.. was wondering how it got the price ? is it because of bulk/block deals?
