Regenrate kite api secret fails with error 500.

I reactivated an old app and on resetting the api secret, neither the app works( through the python api) and refreshing the secret fials with error 500.

I am facing the same issue. I renewed my app today. But I am not able to generate session using python api(It gives an error of invalid checksum).
Also, I got "error 500" when I renewed my app but the app had been reactivated in backend.
Please solve this error.

I regenerated my secret api now. And the app is working fine now.

I am unable to retrieve historic data after this error, even though session is active
