Getting general exception error while trying to get request token

Getting below errors
{"status":"error","message":"invalid host","data":null,"error_type":"GeneralException"}

when i try to get the request token using below call
https://kite.trade/connect/login?v=3&api_key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I had this problem. Could get request token by modifying redirect URL in API with https://kite.trade/connect/login?v=3&api_key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You need to provide a URL in the redirect URL section, you seem to have localhost:8000 which is not a URL.

Yes, we have upgraded to the new backend which is robust now and expects proper inputs.
