I am new to KiteConnect and started exploring things..
I have a scanner which I used to run every 15 mins to scan all FO stocks and look for buy/sell setup based on few indicator data. Now I wanted to know whether historical_data can be used to fetch current day data too? The reason why I m asking is to calculate the indicator, I need current day data along with historical one. Say to calculate current 50SMA of reliance for 15min TF I need minimum last 50 candle data..
any sample scanner we have to refer for my case! please help
Though historical data is available for the same day, we don't recommend using it for the live market strategies. I would suggest generating candles at your end using the live market data provided via Websockets.
