Hey guys, as the title suggests, I have like 0 coding knowledge. I have developed my strat over time and I am confident in it's results. However, I do not know how to convert this to an algorithm/working python bot. I am looking to automate a small part of my strat, which I think a computer would do better than me doing it manually.
To make it simpler, here is exactly what I need: Let's say I pick a target price of a security = x If market price > x --->> SELL If market price < x --->> BUY
Simple enough i guess. Besides, I think I am not too concerned with slippage costs for now because volatility is not a huge concern in the securities I deal with.
How do i go about converting this logic into a fully working trading bot? To be clear, this is all I am looking for, no fancy quant analysis or forward looking models or anything of that sort. At the most, I would like to change my target price or turn off the bot when my desired conditions are met. I am willing to learn all that is required, however, due to my limited knowledge, i guess it may take a lot of time. I really hope someone can provide a solution to this.
@NotnerSaid apart from streak you can also explore inuvest.tech Try using their backtest model and check how it would have worked historically. In case it's an intraday or very short term strategy you can also try their paper trade option.
