Not able to pull quote for Indices

Dear tech team,

When I try to run kite.quite for indices, it doesn't work however it works for NSE and NFO. Below doesn't work, kindly help.

kite.quote(["INDICES:NIFTY%20AUTO"])["INDICES:NIFTY%20AUTO"]
