Sign of quantity when we sell an option

Hi Team,

Suppose I sell an banknifty option of quantity = 10000, so what will be my sign of the 'quantity' parameter in the kite.positions in python.

Will it be positive or negative ?

More queries :

1. Can you also mention the respective signs of - overnight quantity, day_sell_quantity, sell_quantity
2. Is quantity calculated as - buy_quantity + sell_quantity

If quantity is positive, it's a long position,if negative, it's a short position,and if zero,it means the position has been closed.

2. Quantity is calculated as buy_quantity-sell_quantity.

If I am short overnight suppose 1000 quantity, then my overnight_quantity = -1000 ?
