At a given point in time, how do we know if there are any open positions through python ?

You can use the positions API:
https://kite.trade/docs/connect/v3/portfolio/#positions
Every position has a quantity field.
If the quantity is not 0, it's an open position.

And if I had to know about all the positions at once?
And also what about where are no closed positions as well?
If possible can you please ping the code here?
