I observed a very strange anomaly today. I placed a 'MARKET order' today for an instrument, and it did not get fulfilled even after the instrument was trading actively. You can also observe that at timestamp, 09:07, my 'MARKET order' was converted to 'LIMIT order' by Zerodha. This should ideally not happen as the given order if not matched should be carried forward as 'MARKET order' at the open.
I would be obliged by your explanation of the same.
