I am new to Zerodha and API Trading. I observed when selling F&O in Zerodha website, the SELL dialog box doesn't show how many quantities we have even if we have BUY position active. We generally click exit position in Positions tab to sell our BUY side trade.
In API docs there is no such thing as Exit Position. So does it mean, we have to place a opposite side transaction (generally SELL) with same quantity and same symbol. Is there any option to not place SELL side order with huge margin if we don't have BUY side position open?
