Regarding order API rate limit

What happens if I place more than 10 orders in a second using the Kite connect API ? Does the API stop for a few seconds or does it throw an exception?
If it throws any exception, is it mentioned in the API documentation?

    You get 429 error status code with an error message Too many requests. You may refer to all the exceptions and error details here.
