App with access to Historical Data only.

I am making a technical screener, and I only need access to historical EOD OHLCV data. When I create an app, the credentials give access to my profile details (KiteConnect).
Is there a way to create an app, with only access to historical data?
I should be able to pull each EOD OHLCV. But not place orders. or see my portfolio.

    No, historical data is included in the Kite Connect subscription. You must subscribe to access the same.

    Can you guys look into making the profile connect toggleable? there must be demand only for historical data part.

    Kite Connect is purely an execution platform wherein we provide historical data for our users to do backtesting.
    It is provided only for personal use as per the regulations. You may have to contact any exchange registered data vendor for historical data.
