I was checking margins for a basket order and the initial margin required to sell option with hedges is incorrect. It does not show margin benefit while final margin does.
Initial margin refers to the funds you need to place your basket order initially. Final margin refers to the actual funds that get blocked in your Zerodha account after your basket order executes. You may refer to the similar discussion here.
Yes I know that. Have been using same code for last 2 years. But today it's not showing up correctly. Have places hedge buy order above sell orders as usual.
