Trigger order not getting triggered even when price is breached

Hi all,

I have been facing issue recently wherein trigger orders are not getting triggered and keep on showing TRIGGER PENDING even after Trigger Price is breached.

Can some body share if they are facing same issue and what could I do to correct it.

    Hi all. I am facing one issue and need your support to find the solution. I am managing 4 of my family accounts. Out of these 3 accounts which were opened 6-7 years back has following steps for SL order management through API.

    a) Lets say,I place an SL Buy order wth trigger price 100 and order price also 100. It shows order status as TRIGGER PENDING.
    b) Once the order gets triggered, the Order gets converted to a LIMIT order with order price as 100 and order status is OPEN till the qunatity is fully filled.
    c) Once the qunatity is fully filled , the order status becomes COMPLETE.


    The new account I have opened few months back, has following stesp for SL order management.

    a) Lets say, I place an SL Buy order trigger price 100 and order price 100. It shows order status as TRIGGER PENDING.
    b) Once the order gets triggered( Price goes above 100 even 110), the Order status keeps on showing as TRIGGER PENDING till the qunatity is fully filled, instead of OPEN. i.e. the order status remains same independent of weather its triggered or not.
    c) Once the qunatity is fully filled , the order status becomes COMPLETE.

    As per Zerodha's call centre team, the new account is on new server and slowly all accounts will move to the same and the API responses will be same as new account only. To me it seems illogical that order status remains same weather the order is triggered or NOT. There should be some difference between the two.
