The new Trailing Stoploss for GTT (announced on Kite Web, 23 Jun 2026) looks useful, but the announcement is UI-scoped and I couldn't find Connect API details. I run an intraday algo on the Connect API and currently manage protection with regular SL-M orders, so before I evaluate moving any of it to GTT-TSL I'd like two capability facts confirmed:
1. Is the trailing-stoploss parameter exposed via the Connect API — i.e. can it be set on place_gtt / modify_gtt (the trailing point, and the trigger/limit behaviour described in the blog), or is TSL currently Web/app UI only? (Related: an earlier thread noted the V3 docs were thin on the Squareoff / TrailingStoploss fields — is that now documented?)
2. Does GTT-TSL support the MIS product type? The blog lists CNC, MTF and NRML; MIS isn't mentioned. I trade intraday on MIS (MCX), so this is the gating question for me.
If both are supported, a pointer to the relevant docs/params would be great. If not currently, please treat this as a feature request to expose GTT-TSL (with MIS) via the Connect API.
We may support Trailing GTT orders in future updates; however, there is currently no estimated timeline (ETA) for this feature. You may refer to this support article for more details.
