Active Kite Connect app returns Invalid api_key

Athika
My Kite Connect app, “FNO Recovery Scanner,” is Active and my subscription is valid until 17 November 2026.

The API key in my configuration matches the key displayed on the app page. However, opening the Kite Connect login URL returns “Invalid api_key”.

I have paused and reactivated the app and tested the login URL from both my Google Cloud VM and my local browser. The error persists.

Please verify the app registration and API key status and advise how to resolve this.

he issue persists. My app is Active, the subscription is valid, and I have paused and reactivated the app. The API key in my configuration matches the key shown on the app page, but the login URL still returns Invalid api_key.

Please check the API key registration on your side and advise how to resolve this.

The Invalid api_key error occurs when the API key being used does not match the API key of the active app on your developer account. Please double-check that you enter the correct API key exactly as it appears, with no extra spaces. You may refer to the similar discussion here.

If the issue persists, please share the client id or API key via DM.
