I placed a regular LIMIT order to buy some strip and got it executed. When I try to place a sell order for the same quantity, it is getting rejected saying margin exceeded. May be it is trying to execute it as a sell order without prior buy. Can you please explain why it is happening.
Basically I want to know how to exit a position when it is LIMIT order of regular type.
Hi @Srik, You can place sell regular limit order to exit your old position. Make sure you are using the same product as your open position(NRML or MIS).

After these BUY orders were complete I placed a sell order from my script that got rejected I don't have the order ID of that and don't know how to get older rejected order IDs. ). Later I had to place the sell order manually (order 1200000003958767) from the web interface. Please advice me what was wrong.
Hi @Srik, I just checked you orderbook of 19th July 2017 and none of the order ids exist. Can you private message your client id, scrip names on which you traded and make sure orders are of the same date?

In my yesterday's trade I gave the same product but still it got executed as a new sell order. Can you help me find why it happend.
