I wanted to know how can I construct a valid trading symbol for options (especially for nifty): I tried the following: == [underlying][expiry date in 2 digit][expiry month in 3 characters][expiry year in 2 digit][strike price][OptionType : CE for CALL, PE for PUT] == (no square brackets) but I don't think it gives me a valid string (usable tin kite apis).
@sujith I stand corrected. I just meant that whoever had this unique idea of naming expiries like this, rather than simply using two digit month names, is... I don't know what to say

These are the symbols from exchange, it has nothing to do with SEBI.
