trying option stream for the first time, getting following error. pls help me understand where am making mistake

ConnectionError: Error 10061 connecting to localhost:6379. No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

@srijan Option stream is the package of Zerodha only.. under category 'curated list ...' is it not provided by zerodha?

@DJ_Jain It is just a python package which uses KiteTicker(Websocket) to fetch data and build option chain. Is there a problem with KiteTicker?? If yes,you can post on this forum.
But your problem is not related to KiteTicker. Then,why are you asking here??

Redis by default tries to connect to port:6379 of your localhost. You can see the code block for the same here. You need to set-up and start redis server on the same at your end.
