I'm trying to generate JSON for basket order. It has field called 'niceName', in the absence of which the basket order is not properly uploaded.

Using kite connect, how can I get 'niceName' field.

You need to use tradingsymbol in the basket json. Go through the documentation here. You can fetch trading symbol from the complete instrument list.
