Don't you think it would be a better idea to have a pricing based on number of API calls, probably with a free tier at the lower end? Charging a flat monthly fee would neither be attractive to your users and I wonder if it makes great business sense for you. Such usage-based pricing is pretty common for PaaS business models, don't you think?
Regarding the approval: If I create an app that is not deployed for 3rd party usage and is only meant for my personal use, do I still need approval? If I purchase the monthly credits and create an app, at what point in the entire process does the approval enforcement happen?
