Not able to get Access Token

Hi ,

I am very new to Zerodha (My accounted is activated today & I am able to do trading).
I wanted to explore application development for Zerodha ,

I tried C# sample code .
I put API key and API secret in the code.
During step by step execution , Login Page came & I entered my credentials and answers of secret question.

But, the code threw an exception on taking access token.

Is there anything, I have missed.?
Do I have to pay for getting access token ?
or anything else.

Please help me out in this situation. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @mohitgahlyan,
You seem to have only publisher App. You need to create Kite Connect app.

I really appreciate your help.

I just need some more clarification :
1. Do I need to select Kite connect (2000 rs) ?
2. If I create Kite Connect App, will the same code work ? or some different sample is provided for publisher app ?

Can you please provide answer of the above queries , then it would be really helpful.

Hi @mohitgahlyan,
Publisher is only to add one click trade buttons to your websites.
Kite Connect is to access all APIs mentioned here.
