How does Historical API respond after corporate action record date? For the sake of clarity take the following example -
Date: ClosingPrice 01-Nov-2023: 1000 07-Nov-2023: CA Record Date 1:1 Bonus 14-Nov-2023: 500
Will the API adjust all the prices before 07-Nov-2023 for corporate action and return 500 for the closing price on 01-Nov-2023 (if the API call is made after 07-Nov-2023) ?
Also, is there a way to figure out all the corporate actions and price effect of them (split/bonus/merger/etc) - somehow via historical APIs or some other means? If you are adjusting it, how do you do it ?

Yes, Corporate action is updated on the historical data at the beginning of the day process(before market open) on the ex-date, here 07-Nov-2023 morning before the market opens (09:15 AM).
