API Rate limit wrt to IP address

Is the API rate limit discussed in the following thread: https://kite.trade/forum/discussion/2760/no-of-request-to-api#latest, linked to the client's IP address?

I have a specific situation: I possess 10 distinct Kite APIs, all of which will be utilized to call the quote function from a single IP address. Does Zerodha permit this, provided that the rate limit of 1 request per second for each API is adhered to?
