Hi Team, I purchased a share today, and although it appears in my holdings on the Kite dashboard, it doesn't show up when I call the API. Is BTST trading currently not allowed via the API?
Is this on the day, you took trade or the next trading session? Can you enable debug logs for pykiteconnect and share the complete request and response json? Make sure to remove client and app specific tokens.
if i bought a share on 1st october' 24 and i check the holdings(through the api) on 2nd october' 24, it doesnt show up. it will show up on the 3rd though(api call)
Maybe there was some backend process that was being run. Hence you didn't see the holdings. Both Kite web and API are powered by the same backend. It is not possible that on Kite web it is showing and at the same time on Kite Connect API, it is not showing. Can you let us know immediately, next time this happens? We need complete debug logs and screenshot with client id to investigate this.
