Why does a broker API ask for Last Price from the User ? https://kite.trade/docs/connect/v3/gtt/ has a parameter : "last_price": 798.0 For the info. that is already available within Zerodha, why it is dependent on external source? I have to make call to zerodha and populate it. Very strange. Not sure why Zerodha designed this API, this way. I can give a mis-information as well. Sincerely appreciate if some one can explain the logic and thinking behind it that I am not able to understand.
