Modifying Order which is partially filled.

If I don't pass the quantity in a partially filled order, will the order be modified with the original quantity or pending quantity? Like in Zerodha App, it automatically gets the order to be modified is set with remaining quantity. So if the client calls to move the order to market if 10/50 quantity is already filled. When calling quantity is not a required field. So the order will be modified for remaining 40 quantity automatically at the Zerodha end, or do I need to say no modify only for remaining quantity which is pendingQuantity?

When you modify an order without the quantity field, the updated criteria will apply to the pending quantity.

If the original order quantity hasn't been changed, the position will be created based on the original order quantity.
