Purchased 500 Credits – Where Can I See Remaining API Credits + Daily Rate Limit?

Hello everyone,

I am using Kite Connect API v3 with the pykiteconnect Python client, specifically for accessing Historical Data API.

I recently purchased 500 API credits, and I would like to know:
  1. How many API credits are currently remaining in my account?
  2. Where can I check the daily API rate usage / quota details in the dashboard?


To clarify:

- I want to know both the total remaining credits and the remaining daily API rate limit.


Please guide me on where exactly this information is shown (developer dashboard / billing page / API endpoint).

    The Kite Connect API subscription is ₹500 per month per app. Currently, there isn’t an option to view daily usage limits or remaining credits after subscribing. Once you create an app, the ₹500 fee will be applied to a monthly subscription that provides access to both real-time and historical market data.

    We don’t have a specific API endpoint to check rate limit usage, but you can refer to the API rate limit documentation and API rate limit FAQs for more details.

    I just want to know how many API tokens I'm left with right now..? or does the count refreshshes after every call is made?

    The Kite Connect subscription costs ₹500 per month per app. The subscription is not limited to 500 tokens; instead, it remains valid for the entire monthly subscription period, regardless of the number of times you use it. However, you must adhere to the API rate limit, while using the endpoints.
