bad Request on http get for historical data

I have just subscribed for historical data too...but on making a get call to historical data a bad request is received. The error message is a real message where I have just replaced api kay and access token with "XXXXX". Error message is self explanatory as it shows the request too which was sent.

"Error transferring https://api.kite.trade/instruments/historical/269315/minute?from=2017-4-25&to=2017-4-26&api_key=XXXXX&access_token=XXXXX - server replied: Bad Request"

Please provide resolution.

    You can check example for making historical api call here.

    The bad request problem is solved as there was an error in query...the date was not in the right format. It should be yyyy-MM-dd
