I am using the Kite Connect Historical Data API to fetch daily and intraday candles for research. I am facing a specific issue with the BSE Index GREENX (and a few other BSE indices like CARBON).
The Issue:
On the Kite Web/Mobile terminal, the chart for GREENX is loading perfectly with full historical data.
However, when I try to fetch the data via the API (kite.historical_data) using the day interval with oi=True, the API returns an empty response [].
If I pass oi=False, it still fails or shows structural gaps, whereas other NSE indices work flawlessly under the exact same script logic.
It seems there is a backend mapping or database sync issue between your charting vendor data and the historical API server for these specific BSE indices.
Could you please pass this to your technical team to verify why the historical API stream is blocked/empty for GREENX despite having active charts on the terminal?
