Error 400: Bad request for delete orders

I am getting error 400 for delete operations of bo. The url I am using is
https://api.kite.trade/orders/bo/170519000549679?api_key=xxxxxxxx&access_token=1234567890987654321&parent_order_id=170519000549678
with curl "DELETE" request. Now is it because I tested on already cancelled orders or am I making some mistake here?
