Consecutive CO in opposite directions

ramatius
Hi @sujith
Is it possible to send two COs, one LONG and one SHORT consecutively ? For example, say I place a LONG order for CRUDEOILM17JULFUT quantity 5 at 10:00:00 and a SHORT order for the same sym at 11:00:00. Lets assume that the LONG order hasn't hit the SL. Will the SHORT order squareoff the prev position? Or will it create a separate SHORT position with its own SL?

I did search through the forum, but couldn't find enough explanation. Appreciate your reply.

@ramatius Not possible, it will netoff each other if the product type is the same (CO in this case). We are working on taking bracket orders live for commodities. Once done, you can take CO on one side and BO on the otherside to setup a trade that you want to (essentially to buy/short breakouts/downs - the side which is losing gets stopped out and you run the profitable one).
You can do this on Equity & equity F&O currently

Thanks @sujith for the quick answer. Will try out your suggestion once BO is in.
